Mastertech.ai Product Updates - 500K+ shared diag reports, vehicle sync for Shop-Ware and Protractor accounts, deeper Protractor integrations, and more

We are excited to share the latest updates we've released recently on Mastertech.ai!

Automatic vehicle sync for Shop-Ware and Protractor shops

VINs added to work orders from Shop-Ware and Protractor are now automatically synced to Mastertech.ai. For each synced vehicle, we’ll automatically generate the overdue services report based on your shop’s customizations on top of the OEM schedule. A link to this customer-facing report will be added directly to the repair order notes, making it easy to share with your customers and help drive more service conversions.

Diagnostic assistance from Protractor shop repair history

We now support indexing diagnostic events from Protractor shop repair order history. All of our Protractor shops can now automatically tap into diagnostic events from their shop history whenever they ask for diagnostic assistance on Mastertech. Additionally, all Protractor shops are eligible to opt into our wider Shop Connect Network, where shops can share anonymized versions of diagnostic events from their shop history.

Celebrating growth of our Shop Connect Network with over 500,000 shared diagnostic reports

We're growing our Shop Connect Network program with the recent addition of opted-in Protractor shops, surpassing 500,000 shared diagnostic reports this week. The network continues to grow daily, with more shops joining and new diagnostic events added from ongoing repairs.We're also working on expanded integration support to welcome shops using other shop management systems into the network.

Default KM support for Canadian shops

We now support kilometers as the default unit for Canadian shops, making overdue service reports and recommendations easier to use.

Join our Facebook community

We have launched a new Facebook group for all of our active shops using Mastertech.ai. This is a place for the community to give feedback, share tips, and help each other with servicing specific vehicles. Join the Facebook group here.

What we're working on next

• Automatically generate overdue service reports when appointments are created, using estimated mileage. This gives your team a head start on preparing for the visit—no need to wait for the odometer reading.

• Add basic explanations of recommended services to the customer-facing overdue services report.

• Allow hiding of services from OEM schedule based on their preferences

• More extensive component location data for all vehicles.

• Analyze past successful repairs to recommend the best initial diagnostic tests.

• Recommended parts and labor hours based on your shop's historical repair order data.

• Additional integrations with more shop management systems
